Yep every restaurant I worked in after GR had a manager and staff that modelled themselves on fantasies of hyper competitive tv kitchens. One of the reasons i left despite loving the work formerly. It used to be more like, tribal, and laid back. The work was insane and in the weeds and shit but the dynamic among the workers and management changed.
