Matthew 24:21: For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will
Revelation 2:22: Behold, I will throw her on a bed of sickness, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her deeds
Revelation 7:14: And he said to me, These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Daniel 12:1: At that time . . . there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time.
1Thes 5.3,4 While they are saying, "Peace and safety!" then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you like a thief
An event which encompasses the whole world.
Mathew 24.14 This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come
Isaiah 24:19, 20 The earth is broken asunder, The earth is split through, The earth is shaken violently. The earth reels to and fro like a drunkard and it totters like a shack.
Begins when? r we seeing this now? good vs evil...
2Thes 2b the day of the Lord . . . will not come unless . . . the man of lawlessness is** revealed**, the son of destruction
- who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.
2 Thessalonians 2:3: Let no one in any way deceive you, for [the day of the Lord] will not come unless the apostasy comes first.
1 Timothy 4:1: But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons.
2 Timothy 3:1-5: But realize this, that in the last days . . . men will be . . . holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power.
2Thes 2.8-13 Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness. But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.
Matthew 24:12-13 Because lawlessness is increased, most people's love will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved
As a whole, man has rejected every opportunity that God has given him to demonstrate his trust in Him by obedience to Him
Rev 7.9-14 **I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count from every nation and tribe and people and language standing before the throne and before the Lamb . . ...“These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” **
Rev 21.3,4 “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
Amen. This is the exact view that I now have, thanks to outstanding teachers. And, I think this view is growing, as it makes much more sense and the Bible spells it out clearly when you pay attention. Jesus is ruling and reigning right now.
Word of God,
Revelation 19 KJV 11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
Very, very well said my brother...exactly!
Thanks for writing this up. My group recently did a study on eschatology, and my mind was blown as I had never heard of partial-preterism. Even more confounding is that it was a prevailing viewpoint and had been lost in recent times.
For anyone wondering, this is a summary of the Atrocity that is the Fall of Jerusalem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aC3nUrJutsM
That is far worse than anything we're experiencing today. We're not being burned at the stake. We're not prevented from buying/selling, at least not yet. The world has been getting better for the Christians. We may experience ups and downs, but the message has been spreading throughout the globe and God's blessings have been increasing.
this is what i've been thinking for yrs. ty
