For a very long time, I've noticed the undertones of "be prepared" (for some, obviously not all) are more like "I hope collapse happens"? I find myself wanting that somewhat...a societal reset...but why? Do we think that is the only way? Am I off-base here?

Because burning it all down and starting over is sometimes easier than fixing things the hard/right way.
I believe that’s the reason for Q, otherwise we would all be over at patriots.win planning on burning shit down, HOPEFULLY there is a Q+ team behind the scenes separating the white hats from the swamp. I also think they are using the NSA to do it, we couldn’t have done it this way (right way) without the Q team knowing the truth and since Trump never talked about getting rid of the NSA (although it’s unconstitutional) I believe this is why.
