Have this go through the legislature for Gods sake. Executing order by fiat in the name of freedom is more harmful than our current situation in the long run, tyranny is wrong no matter who's side it supports.

Abbott also called on the Legislature to pass a law with the same effect. The Legislature is in its third special legislative session, which ends Oct. 19.
