I did it recently. After you enter Texas, you will spend whole day driving and still be in Texas. It is that wide, unbelievable and interesting.

Tall too. I live in NE Texas and can drive 13 hours South and still be in Texas. Conversely, I can drive Northeast for 13 hours and be in WISCONSIN.....! Let that sink in eh.?
