The Walmart in my town has been low on a lot of stuff for a good number of years. It's not new.
BTW, that new bacon flavor Spam is pretty good. I sliced and fried some to go with my eggs, and it was good. I've also made sandwiches with it. It's a little pricey, but our local grocery store still has it on sale, and it lasts forever. So it's a good item to stockpile. I buy some every time I go to the store.
Just buy some extras every time you shop, and it adds up fast.
Another hint: mice can't get into glass canning jars.
Our shell salad was made with tuna in place of spam when I was a kid in the 70s. I like the little shells for salads, I prefer them over macaroni and keep them on hand , especially during summer.

Bacon flavored spam? I don't eat spam at all, I think it's gross but I'm strangely intrigued.
Spam is pork. It's good. I like it even better fried. It lasts forever, which makes it an ideal protein to stockpile (in addition to your beans).
It's probably a good idea to have some on hand.
