Scientists wouldn't be a problem if they started with a theory or hypothesis, then tried to prove it and followed the data where it led them, true or false. Instead, many have gotten to the point of identifying an outcome and then selecting only the data that fits their desired outcome. That's data manipulation, not science...just like we've seen throughout the virus mess.
