Oh, you mean the daily pressures, harassment, and social degeneration pushed in public school reshaped my very being over the sum 13ish years of mostly wasted time? Just so we can hide our true selves by learning to put on a mask? Only to have to unlearn everything once the realization of being lied to about everything sets in...

Last year when my daughter began homeschooling her children, she told me she was concerned about their social development and not interacting enough with other children. I asked he to ask her children how many real friends they had at school. The answer was one to two. My grandson told her he couldn't stand most of the kids in his class because they were either stupid or bullies (or both).In one school year she got them ahead by nearly one grade each, they still like to hang out with other children, and they now have less stress and anxiety.
Being forced to interact with bullies and idiots on a daily basis is what they want. It can be soul crushing if you aren't popular or an A student. Government school is a colossal waste of time and youth.
I fucking hate that argument. Proper socialization is learning how to interact with people both older and younger than you, in a variety of settings. Aka what you DON'T get at government school.
