As a kid, probably about 10yo or so, my Dad started telling me to avoid buying the 'first iteration' of anything. He was specifically speaking of car models at the time, telling me to allow the certain model to be road tested and bugs worked out for later models. Through the years, this has shown to apply well to software programs, computer processors, new 'miracle' drugs (which are now pulled off the market) and today, vaccine-like substances. I try to explain this to people whenever they ask about my jab status but it always falls on deaf ears, or else, insults them.
