I have been concerned for the past weeks as my delivery due date is getting closer. I know Polio can be letal for anybody, so I'm trap in a dilemma.
The current Polio Vax used in the States is the IPV (injectable) that contains MRC-5, while the more "ethical" OPV (oral) has long been discontinued.
I wouldn't want my baby to suffer due to polio in the future, however, the IPV (injectable) goes against my religious beliefs and is a clear catch from big pharma. They could have let the OPV one as an option, but they just wanted money.
Greedy bastards.
Any advices, alternatives?
Well, i have a 4 year old and i have opted to skip all vaccines. You have to decide whats right for you and your child.
What got me to lean against vaccines for children was reading about the amount of mercury in vaccines. But to each person their reasons will be their own.
I agree. The mercury in vaccines is my second biggest concern. I have posted a long research in the board with links to the articles that talks how the high levels of Mercury in vaccines correlates to Autism.
I'll be doing more research, because I believe there are more chances of "injuries by Vaxx" than actually getting the illness nowadays.
Aluminum is an issue as well. The stabilizers often have aluminum, and that's a contributing factor, as well.
There is the strain of Polio in India directly caused by an ineffective oral version of the Polio vaccine too.
I was reading that as well.
