Yup, knew as soon as I saw the "kids' food" it would be TBHQ!
BHT is one to look out for too.
Just about anything added with the by-line "for freshness" is the same crap by a different name.
Nearly every cereal has TBHQ or BHT in it. If not that, they have some form of dyes which are also known toxins.
Just take a look at what they've done to table salt.
https://www.redhillgeneralstore.com/bulkfoods/bulksalt/Morton-Iodized-Table-Salt.htm
They add potassium iodide as a mineral supplement.
The potassium iodide causes the salt to clump, so they add sodium silicoaluminate (silica and aluminum in your salt?!) to stop clumping.
Then they add dextrose (sugar) to mask the bitterness caused by the above!
What started as an excuse to reduce iodine levels in all other foods by fortifying table salt with it has instead turned into a cocktail of heavy metals, sand, and sugar.
Now we're left with having to use sea-salt and take iodine supplements to be as healthy as your average person was eating iodine rich food 100 years ago. On account of fortifying table salt with iodine, they now have gotten away with genetically modifying foods to have low iodine using the excuse "studies show X Americans get an ample supply of iodine from salt, so we don't need to focus on that" while also replacing all fast food salts with non-fortified salts.
So people who do cook at home using table salt get sick from the sugar-aluminum cocktail while fast-food peons succumb to iodine deficiencies.
Our food is so screwed up...
Truly.
I like Korean roasted salt from seaweed and pink Himalayan salt.
