What's the context? Marc Antony wasn't seriously praising the death of Caesar and putting over the assassins. The Goal was to turn the people to being enraged against the actions of Brutus and the corrupt ie Deep state through his clever eulogy. I might be reading the intent of your post incorrectly, if that's the case please pardon my feedback; however, I think the metaphors you are evoking are misplaced. Caesar being more like Trump and his assassination being more like the DS steal and deconstruction of his character in the public eye. Caesar is not deepstate in this story.
LOL, its a meme.
Zero comparison intended between the narrative in Julius Caesar and any current events.
Rather, it is simply borrowing the shakespeare motif to offer a meme that promotes or shares the Great Awakening. That's it.
Just borrowing Will's language here. It's poetic. This is simply an artistic, literary exercise, and any other comparison should be disregarded.
Edit: the meme works by using well-known drops from Q. "You have more than you know" , "The world is watching" etc.
I appreciate the follow up. The meme should work by being concise and by being accurate to its source. While concise to a message, the memes creator does not appear to have read Shakespeare; or at least missed the subtleties from the scene the quote is taken from.Marc Antony is not actually asking for the people to celebrate the death of the "deep state" if you understand the rest of Act 2 and Act 3. The meme is not good because it is not accurate. It's inaccuracy is either on part of ignorance or intentional. Before down voting please ask yourself what makes an effective meme and possibly look into the source material it is referencing. Godspeed.
You're more than welcome to your opinion.
This is nothing more than art.
Sadly, you don't really have the context in which it sits. I view the meme in a context different to the one you appear to be inferring.
This meme has nothing to do with Marc Antony, but like I said, you're certain welcome to your opinion.
I would suggest perhaps not being too rigid in your view regarding "what makes a good meme". Remember, the Communists judged everything based on whether it supported or upheld "the Revolution". Everything that, in their view, did NOT advance the revolution was considered decadent, bad and wrong. aka "not good".
But yeah, nothing wrong with having an opinion, or with sharing it. no downvote from me, pede.
I definitely won't down vote you haha. In fact, I may have up voted your 4:40:400 related post. That's insightful stuff.
While I did not call the meme bad, and it is not good. Championing the meme because it advances a Q sentiment despite being inaccurate and if examined further may serve to undermine the message. This should matter and if it doesn't it may borderline on the secular when approaching art. Things do have meanings and it is important for us to try to understand those meanings.
Here's an example: What does a Rainbow signify? Is it a handshake between God and Noah OR is is just a symbol of the gay mafia inclusivity? How many people today know the former more over the latter? Less than there maybe should be and there in lies danger with not in ignorance. (Although in the gay mafia does this intentionally to subvert and invert the original symbol, I think).
The meme above almost inverts the original meaning of the quote. This is why it is not good. And yes there are a such things as bad memes ... Have you seen the Left try to meme? Lmao 🤣
