Unrelated - the Japanese entertainment industry seems to have a fascination with Ouroboros. Ace Combat 3 (organization logo), Resident Evil 5 (virus), Breath of Fire iii & iv (weapon), Xenogears (boss), Full Metal Alchemist (symbol), Prison School (69 position), to name a few.
