Lots of fact-checkers are all over this story, but in their fact-checking they quote the 1905 ruling, which I believe was overturned by the Nuremberg code. Informed consent and all that. In my opinion, any court must consider human rights in this context, one cannot simply override informed consent in an (((emergency))). Doing so, would severely undermine democracy, as all governments would just declare an emergency at a drop of the hat, so that they can gain power to change things at will. Oh wait. As we know the fact-checkers tend to hover over targets. So for me, the jury is still out regarding this story. I know there are some courts now quoting the 1905 ruling in their little Nazi brains. Shame on them!
