I worked for a company for ten years that every year made us go to a United way branch office to listen to sob stories so we would donate out of every paycheck. They even gave incentives for doing so, things like TVs, football/baseball tickets, iPads etc. Even if it was 5$ a week. They told us that we didn’t have to donate, but they highly encouraged it. I got in trouble my last year working for this company, also when I just didn’t give a shit about them anymore, when I asked how much of our donations actually go to help people? I then proceeded to ask how much the ceos make.
