Before the narrative was completely locked down, admissions that the regular cloth or paper masks were useless with covid was openly admitted, even by governments.

But they also didn't want people flocking to buy the (limited) supply of the n95 masks either.... yet still wanted to flex that tyranny. So in came the mandate, despite the print on the cloth mask packaging telling you how useless it is.
