Okay, so obviously, the makers of the jab-poison knew we were going to examine their venom. Someone help me out here; it's passed my bed-time and I'm badly confused. WHISKEY TANGO ACTUAL FOX would someone put a parasite in the mix?

Did they WANT to get caught?
is this some sort of distraction?
is this one of those cat parasites that messes up people's thinking?
