Seems like the issue never really stopped after Evergiven. I've heard all the speculation as we all have. Several have posted good updates from port workers. What about Customs? I had a hard time grasping how Customs could possibly actually inspect even 1 % even when things were clicking along normally. What would they do if we were under attack from say...Chyna? How the hell would they actually inspect those containers? Could inspection be the bottle-neck??

It's the new trucking laws in CA. No independent truckers can pickup at the ports and no trucks older than 2011 can be used in CA.
I've been hearing that for days now. I don't buy it as the cause. First, that's only Cali. Doesn't account for the back up here in Wa. or on the east coast. Second,...Have you ever seen the rail lines at PoLA or San Pedro??? I have no doubt it's an issue. Another issue for trucking companies is "no return time/location for the containers". I saw where one large truck company has 1/3 of it's chassis loaded with empty containers and no place to take them, so they can't get more.
