They do this every time the Democrats run things, although with their current backing from the Globalists and the CCP they are doing so more intensely now, conditions have always deteriorated under Democratic control. Then the MSM brings out the "new normal" stories to cover for the Dems inability to make the country work as well as it does under Republican or bipartisan control.
