Do not ignore it, request information from HR on religious exemptions. Send it in email, send it by certified mail if you have to. They have to work with you to provide accommodations, it's the law.
If you ignore them, it makes it easier for them to get rid of you.
I just talked to another worker and when you file that exemption and sign the paperwork for it. In the fine print if it gets denied you are terminated.
Why are you "talking with workers" just go read the policy. I read all of the policies surrounding my business, and they stated nothing remotely close to that.
Your company is required by law to provide you any policy that applies to you. You have to be knowledgeable of that policy for it to be enforceable. Either someone is lying to you, or you are not asking the right questions loud enough.
It sounds like the union isn't even helping with exemptions. Finding another job I don't think will be a problem for me. It just sucks walking away from a great retirement.
On the other side brother. You know daddy Warren is just waitin to see what y’all do and how much of a shit storm he has coming his way. Hold that fuckin line and spread the word! It’s what everybody over here is talking about which is great because I can dispense like it’s a red pill buffet. We feel ya!!
I guess our company lawyers looked into it. Now they are trying to follow the Residents EO. I am sure they are getting a cut of that 3.5T bill they are trying to pass.
Railroad workers have one of the most entrenched unions in the world. Use it to fight this.

That is the big problem. There is no policy on it right now it all hear say. The company won't even answer questions about it.

I received my religious exemption today.
I am waiting for the very last minute to submit my exemption.
I feel they’re panicking, and I don’t want to give them any wiggle room to make me jump through hoops.
Either they approve it, or they don’t.
Hell, hopefully one of my job applications works out before then and I just won’t do it at all.
That is what I am planning to do and video record all of it
Your in one of the best unions in the country fight
