What about for intersex people? They are often left out of this discussion, having only just come out of the era where they would all have their genitals mutilated and lied to from birth, told "they were a normal girl" despite this simply not being the case. Surely they have the right to self-determination? Surely they know more about what and who they are than a stranger on the street?
For children with "normal"-appearing genitals but a hormonal sex that does not match those genitals, we have hormone replacement therapy, and have for a couple decades now. I understand that it's bad to let trans children use this therapy, and it's only to be used for correcting slight hormonal defects in good children. But for those born with a sexual phenotype other than XX or XY (XXY being the most common, but there are variations, there are billions of humans after all, there's gonna be plenty of variance), surely they should be able to choose how others refer to them, and with respect?
Trannies tried to co-opt the intersex community and they were not having i and got BTFO and stopped comparing their delusions to a real biological issue. It is very rare to be intersex and I do not agree with anyone deciding they should be girls or boys in infancy. Just leave them the hell alone until they are old enough to decide if they want surgery/hormones/etc
I'm all for people doing whatever they want with their own bodies and be allowed to call themselves whatever they want.
But don't try to force others to play pretend with you.
