What about for intersex people? They are often left out of this discussion, having only just come out of the era where they would all have their genitals mutilated and lied to from birth, told "they were a normal girl" despite this simply not being the case. Surely they have the right to self-determination? Surely they know more about what and who they are than a stranger on the street?
For children with "normal"-appearing genitals but a hormonal sex that does not match those genitals, we have hormone replacement therapy, and have for a couple decades now. I understand that it's bad to let trans children use this therapy, and it's only to be used for correcting slight hormonal defects in good children. But for those born with a sexual phenotype other than XX or XY (XXY being the most common, but there are variations, there are billions of humans after all, there's gonna be plenty of variance), surely they should be able to choose how others refer to them, and with respect?
Tranny's tried to co-opt the intersex community but they were not having it. Their delusions have nothing to do with real genetic issues. They got BTFO and stopped their be, the intersex we're pissed.Intersex is very rare and one should be forcing surgery on an Intersex infant. Just leave them the hell alone until you hey are adults who can make sound judgements on surgery, hormones, etc. Many parents do it because they believe it will benefit their child to be normal. Not so, check out the tragic case of John Money (pedo father of trannyism and David Reimer, RIP)
I'm all for people doing whatever they want with their own bodies and be allowed to call themselves whatever they want.
But don't try to force others to play pretend with you.
