Deaths should be declining. Covid caused a lot of elderly and sickly people to die early. Those people are not around to die now. That “pulling forward” of deaths should have left us with lower than average deaths, but instead we are running higher than average. This makes no sense unless covid is still killing people above normal or something else is doing the killing.
