I gotta say now, without a doubt, I'm a firm believer... I never really doubted it, it was just wild to imagine that it helps people struggling worse than I was within hours of ingesting. There is definitely something to this stuff. I dosed using an infographic I saw here at GAW, where you multiply your body weight by 1.5, and take the amount for that number. My "lung squeeze" is basically gone.. I've felt just a little short of breath and heavy for awhile, but it never got alarmingly bad until yesterday. I took IVM at 5 pm yesterday, and by 11ish it was gone. I've still got a runny nose and am coughing, but I'm actually coughing up stuff at this point. Having said that, I was also taking Theraflu as well as these zinc chewables so take this info for what you will. I'm going to stock up on this stuff.
Side effects: Nothing serious, although I did get this weird kind of buzzy feeling, kind of like a high, but not.. And a sense of hyperfocus..? If that makes any sense at all. I'm sorry I can't describe it any better than that, but it wasn't a bad or sickly feeling.
The main thing I'm taking away from this experience is if any of you feel the slightest difference in breathing or start feeling the "squeeze", get ivm asap! Mine had been that way for a month or so, but it was manageable. It's when you actually catch something like a cold that it's VERY noticeable. Stay healthy frens! WWG1WGA!!
Last week I was coming down with a bad cold. I know from many past experiences that I was looking at 7-10 days of suck.
I took ivermectin based on my weight times .04 based on what the frontline doctors website said we should take after exposure. I know exposure means covid exposure and not exposure to the cold. (Pills not paste)
I took it in the evening. The next day I was about the same, maybe just a little worse. I expected from my past experience for that day to be a really bad day. The following day was a little better. That night which was 48 hours after my first dose I took my second dose. got up in the morning and I was almost completely "cold" free.
Yes I still had a occasional stuffy nose during the day. But it was easily taken care of. To sum it up it was like a normal cold that I got in the past that lasted over a week but with the worst 3 days of that week gone.
From now on without question I will be doing this when I get a cold.
I'm normally the same way, so I'm hoping by dose 2 I'll be much better. It's amazing how much better my lungs feel already.
