I think he fights hard for his country which has a lot of problems. He doesn't have to be a 'White Hat' or a 'Black Hat'. I don't think he likes the corrupt criminal psychopaths that running most of the world.

His country is riddled with corruption also, but the corruption is by powerful individuals. I don't know if he has tried to do anything about that, or goes along with them.
