Thinking about this after Trump's statement about Truth. Some people must be out ahead of all this, planning to take over industries. I hope we won't be trading one ruling class for another.

it will be impossible to implement a truly free system that would disallow people accruing power
after all, what we are trying to do is restore true freedom. of course there will still be billionaires, there always will be. what we need to make sure of, is that the people who do still have wealth and power are accountable to the people

I realized today that they are trying to kill us all because of blockchain technology. With blockchain, sure they could hoard BTC, but they would need to literally buy every single coin in the world. BTC with layer 2 programs are infinitely divisible, and there would never not be enough to supply as world currency. They know they have lost the power to manipulate the money, thus the people. ALL WE NEED TO IS WALK AWAY FROM THE FIAT BY CHOICE! FOLLOW THE MONEY!
I don't think we mind a ruling class that obeys all the rules and doesn't rape children, steal our elections, censor our speech, force us to be in medical experiments etc.
I don't care if billionaires fly around in their private planes and have parties on their yachts as long as they leave me alone.
They could have just skimmed 1% of total wealth and most would never notice or care, the problem is their greed means leaving us with less than 0.1% instead.
The concern isn't that there are people with more skills, more influence, more resources. No matter how things are put together, some will consistently perform better than others.
I mean, we could take all the money in the world and give each person an equal share, within some time it would result that the wealth would start flowing towards some and away from others.
Without corporate personhood, interest, and with laws followed justly regardless, so many of the worlds problems would just dissolve and we with memory of it might wonder how.
Don't overlook the time aspect of this.
The mega rich did not achieve their wealth and power overnight. You can get rich quite quickly but the contacts needed to wield additional power only come slowly. That is one reason that Congressional term limits have been suggested. The politicians would be out of a job before they could tap into all the extant gravy trains.
The Rothschilds have been going at it since the 1700s and even the relative recent Rockefellers have been going for a century and a half.
We need to find a way to prune their power with each new generation. The reason they use subversion to destroy other people's families is because they realise just how powerful the family unit is. Women working, feminism, single parenting, same sex marriages etc all contribute as does the school curriculum.
When this is over, there WILL be a billionaire class, I believe. GME holders.
