So I've seen (and used) the advice here to obtain a religious exemption for the death jabs. I have just been hired by a mega hospital (IT, I don't go near patients) and will be putting in an exemption statement for the death jab (I don't see it as a request, because I'm not getting the damned thing, no matter what).
I found out that, as of this fall, they are also forcing the flu shot on their employees. The thing is, I've never had a flu shot, don't want a flu shot, and will not be getting a flu shot. End of story. Not to mention that, if I had to bet, they'll just inject people with another death jab and say it's a flu shot. I don't trust anyone in medicine other than frontline docs now. Anyway, I apparently need to present an exemption form to get out of that one as well (separately, of course, because this place is a bureaucratic hell).
Does anyone have any info off the top of their had about getting out of a flu vaccine?
And for the bitchy people out there: yes, I can do my own research, but if anyone here has any experience with this, I'd tend to trust them more than bullshit that google provides.
You have a good head on you. I was mandated into it, for the first time ever, last year. Never had the flu. The shot gave me “Covid” within a week of getting it. Never had a bad wheeze until getting a flu shot.
The issue with flu shots is they ‘may’ guard you against a specific strain, which is always a guess as to what that is for the year, but they simutaneously weaken you against all other illnesses. The flu shot made me vulnerable.
There’s also rumbling they are combining the flu and Covid shots this year.
I’m speaking to the choir here, I’m sure. Do not get it. Regret is all you’ll have, especially this year. If I had success on an exemption I’d help you out. Still, I thought you deserved a response.
Thanks, I appreciate it. I'm sorry you didn't have success with your request for exemption, and that you had issues with the shot. I just don't trust the things--the last vaccine I had was tetanus, and that was a very long time ago.
I'm definitely not getting it. When I put in my application for the job, the flu shot was not a requirement. My start date is soon and all of a sudden, it's required, in addition to the death jab. I told them before I ever accepted the job that I wasn't getting the COVID jab, and I meant it. And I'm not getting the flu shot either.
My husband and I talked about it and neither of us will get it, even if it means losing our jobs.
Thank you for your resolve in this spiritual battle.
Same reasoning can apply, religious exemption.
Worst part about it is I looked up quotes from DJT and Ben Carson to comfort me about it, and in a way, if something bad happened, my ego could dish the blame off to them.
I think about it often, and would have preferred to leave that job instead. Please make a choice with no regrets. Don’t get it.
You should be able to use all the same arguments for the flu shot, as the Covid. They’re barely different illnesses. Same numbers. Covid is just buffed by mass paranoia and fear. Psychology has a huge effect on the body’s ability to fight.
I got my religious exemption from one of the major universities in Southern California.
Working on mine for the flu shot, too. Shouldn't be too difficult, as the religious exemption doesn't require that your particular belief system be 'exactly' identical to that which is sponsored by said religion.
You are entitled to your own interpretations, thus I would expect that your interpretation might reflect the common core beliefs centered around the idea that your body is an embodiment of your own 'temple' and that you, as a consenting adult, can decide to opt out of as you believe yourself to be perfect and holy as you exist as an embodiment of Christ.
The Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith (CDF) published something called "Note on the morality of using some anti-COVID-19 vaccines," which does state that vaccines must be voluntary and that the only exemption to this moral conflict would be one that would be caused by an 'uncontrollable' spread of the virus with no means of control, which is not applicable to neither COVID-19 nor the influenza strain. Continued use of PPE, maintaining social distancing protocols when possible and practicing good hygiene will continue to substantially protect you against the virus.
I would definitely repost at a time with higher site traffic. You’ll get better answers!
Thanks. I may try reposting tomorrow to see if I can catch anyone who put in an exemption for the flu shots. It's just ridiculous that I have to put one in at all, especially considering I'll still be working remotely when I'm a FTE.
People from all walks here. Threads fade from rising in a short time, and it can be easy to miss your target audience. Post at prime time and you’ll get your answers!
Yes, it is ridiculous and unethical. We should only need our principles to deny something that threatens our integrity and dignity. Instead, they make us pick between two boxes. I stand for much more than ‘medical’ or ‘religious’, and I reject their desire to corner me. I am free.
This was a nice interview, a fireman who refused the jab: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UKKZndueReg
