We just talked to a friend who works at the IRS. Asked if the amount was really unimportant and just a way to gain access to ANYONE’s account they wanted to observe. He said yes and that even if they can add the 1,000 new positions they are supposed to be getting, they will still not have the additional staff required to observe everyone’s account who makes those transactions. So you’re idea is doubly funny!
