Like most if not all of you, I lost friends and family members over this Q thing. And since I'm french, it was even worse since most Europeans think Trump was the worst thing that ever happened since Hitler, and the fact that very few people are familiar with Q. I see a lot of people in this forum who feel alienated and bitter about that. My message to you is simple. Jesus said “Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a person's enemies will be those of his own household. Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it".
Now you fully understand what he meant. To elevate your spirit and therefore your inner freedom, you have to be able to sacrifice attachments (possessions, family, friends and lovers). I am not saying that you should be alone, i'm saying that you should be able to be alone. When you don't expect anything from anyone, then and only then, you will be able to love and give freely, without expecting anything in return. And that is true freedom.
As well, this manufactured crisis opened our eyes about a lot of people we thought we knew, and although this knowledge is painful, it is useful and precious. Expansion of consciousness is the ultimate point of our incarnation and suffering. Awareness is the core of our being, and sometimes, to wake up, we need a good slap in the face. We are blessed, because try to imagine what those who offend us will feel when they realize how wrong they were, and how unjust they have been to us. What we are going through is nothing compared to what they will have to endure when the truth will become inescapable.
Thank you for your attention and please let me know if I made any language mistake. I'll correct them.
I am impressed by your command of the English language, and the strength of your logic and resolve.
I know Americans like to ridicule the French. It is de rigeur to do so. But I always had a lot of respect for the people of France (and no respect for its corrupt leaders). And I always also liked them. And I will never forget that the French came to our aid when we as a nation needed help most, in the form of La Fayette.
Tout le monde est gilet jaune, maintenant.
Remain strong. It sounds like you already know where to get your strength.
"And whoever does not receive you nor listen to your words, as you leave that house or city, shake the dust off your feet." - Matthew 10:14
Alors... C'est ça.
I get you don't respect our leaders, most french think like you do, but a lot of americans judge the french without knowing anything about our history. We had 30 wars with the british, you had only 1. We had as neighbors and adversaries Germany, Italy, Spain, plus the arabs who try to invade us from the south. Your neighbors are Canada and Mexico. Not exactly the same level of threat. Your country is lucky. Just don't forget it, and don't judge so easily european countries which have had a history much tougher and bloodier than yours. I'm not talking about you by the way, just your compatriots.
Je suis d'accord.
