Safe CNN 10 alternative?

I refused to show CNN 10 in my class. Now I have to come up with an alternative. Im asking some of my Frens for help. I'm already working 60+ hours a week and need something cheap or free (I will have to pay out of my pocket for it). Thank you for your help.

Have a rotating assignment for the kids. Top ten news items each day: one sentence of description, one sentence of opinion, one sentence of counter-opinion. Extra credit: one item not in news that maybe should be.
