See? You've become a teacher. What you've written resonates with me. Up to now, I've always thought of horses as being just big, beautiful, lovable creatures for brushing, feeding, watering and exercising, lovingly. I've always thought they look to us for stewardship and care-giving. There was a time when I wanted to be a farrier because I thought I could help them be their best. No doubt, they might have been instrumental in my own care and healing. Their "shoe" (metaphorically) might have wound up on another foot... ;)
Obviously, I cannot possibly buy enough pasture land to allow all the horses to live out peaceful lives. So, I wouldn't dare undertake any form of care for the death-row horses. I can't afford the care of even one. Yet our conversation is VERY MUCH relevant to Q and America First: taking care of God's creation is among our first responsibilities as Patriots.
And no doubt, I am destined to learn a great deal about myself and about horses when I care for a mare; slowly trying to 'convince' her that she can depend on me for what she is due. THANK YOU, for being my 'horse whisperer'. I never expected to meet someone so capable on this forum. Please let me share with you an AWESOME post from u/FractalizingIron, that I believe is connected to the very things we've discussed. MAGA-A!!
