I haven't really seen Catholic bashing. I see stuff on here from Abp Vigano all the time. I see a bunch of other pro-catholic stuff, a lot, and the majority in here seem to be Christian in on form or another, and even the atheists don't really come down on anybody. There is a general mutual respect.
I have definitely seen stuff that goes against the pope. The pope is not God. Surely you understand that man can be compromised. That even popes can't be perfect, as there has only ever been one perfect person.
Knowing that the pope is a man, and all men are sinners, you don't deny the possibility that the pope can be compromised, do you?
That is the problem, here. And the fact that he influences catholics all over the world.
