Fun experiment... grab a telescope and have a look at other celestial bodies. If they're all round, 99.99999999% chance the Earth is too. Neat, huh?

I have, and telescopes use curved lenses like airplanes. Try watching some optical zoom videos of planets (7 wandering stars) or stars from Nikon p900 or p1000 cameras.
