What’s with the tiki torches? Why did they invent the tiki torch white and what’s it mean?

Tiki torches received media attention after the Unite the Right rally in 2017, when groups associated with the alt-right and white nationalist movements in the United States prominently carried lit bamboo torches as they demonstrated in Charlottesville, Virginia.
