My husbands boss has a son that works for Harley Davidson. He works in shipping.. He told his dad the back up isnt because of worker or driver shortage. However he is saying for years when we would get shipments over we would be able to hold on to the crates that the shipments came in from China. Well now with Joe Biden and office China is wanting their crates back immediately. Instead of allowing us to keep the product in the crate and hold it until we can refill that crate and send it back to China full. So we have to unload crates unload what is in said crate then put shipping container EMPTY back on ship. So there is no place to store said goods. He said NOONE IS TALKING ABOUT THIS. So i know i can get real answers here from real people who are there daily.. Thank you in advanced for any answers i may get.

I also heard a truck company owner saying all of his chassis have containers (empty) on them with no place to put them so they can't load new ones on to the chassis to deliver anything. Anyone that doesn't think this is on purpose needs to wake up.
That’s because there is also a shortage of containers (the boxes). While everyone has just heard about backup in LA ports, the prices to get goods shipped from China, had doubled from any other year by like May.
Lots of factors at play. I wouldn’t be depressed if they are adding extra steps to make this even worse.
