Imagine that you see people with too much disposable income. View it as your mission in life to separate them from as much of it as possible. Invent grossly overpriced things that they will be silly enough to buy while you collect their excess cash.
This world is upside down. I need to comment with this again, as I did above, its time this wealth transfer happens into the hands of people who will do right with it.
Proverbs 13:22 New Living Translation says....
Good people leave an inheritance to their grandchildren, but the sinner’s wealth passes to the godly.
I'm blown away that a simple chair could be so expensive let alone the fact that people have this sort of disposable income.
Fuckin bonkers.
It'd take me 3.5 months of paychecks to buy that fucking chair. Insane.
A Louis Vuitton handbag can cost $2,500. A Delvaux handbag can cost $9,000 or more.
It's all a method of signaling status by ostentatious displays of pointless frivolity.
Look at it the other way round.

I saw an article in the newspaper last week. It was a restaurant receipt from a restaurant in London which totalled £37,000 !!! I don't know who it was but I feel sick just at the disgusting self indulgence and waste when there are so many in need. https://www.edinburghlive.co.uk/news/uk-world-news/furious-diner-handed-whopping-37000-21878355
