Winds in DFW were gusting 50 miles an hour straight out of the west. That’s one hell of a crosswind!

Well, that's good that you have 31L/13R and 31R/13L so it's not a direct crosswind and would probably reduce the crosswind component down to a 32kt crosswind which is well within the limits of a 37 and 57.
