Our work is now requiring a vaccine card as proof. I was thinking of uploading a fake one - but I wouldn't be surprised if they scrutinized some cards to see if they were fake.
This makes me wonder. Is there any way for them to verify a vaccine card is fake, if the lot number + location + shot name are correct?
I don't imagine they would call each place and ask if the person took the shot. But I am wondering if they can easily electornically verify it with the state, for ex. Is there digital storage, attached to an SSN for example?
I am aware of some people who got fired for faking a vaccine card. I don't know how that was determined. I'd suggest using a Lot # from someone you know locally. Maybe ask to see their card 'out of curiosity' (since you're planning to get your vax) and take a pic or write down the number. Or ask to see a relative's card.
Another option would be to visit a pharmacy on a sketchy side of town and see if a vax tech will allow you to "tip" them to not give you the shot. That would be worth at least $100 I'd think. Maybe?
