Been thinking of your post for a few days. I immediately thought of a Bible verse something like ' if you invite a non-believer into your home and he/she does wrong, it's on you'. Thought it was 1Timothy but it is in neither of the Timothy letters. I also thought of the Oera Linda Book, the handbook for the Anglo-saxons, which also states that if you invite those who do not follow your principles, you have only yourself to blame for the inevitable destruction of those principles. Again, no luck with the sauce.
Yea im just wondering if someone is causing pain in your life you can disconnect from them vs forgive always
In my experience you cannot forgive always, it is inevitably fake. With God's help I have acknowledged and lovingly accepted my hardened heart and that acceptance causes a shift. It is as if when I give myself unconditional regard, as God does, then there is a moment when my heart softens. it is not an endeavour, a mental idea, but mercy. God's mercy on me.
