The health implications of 5G are very troubling. And there may be a very good alternative.
Since 5G relies on higher frequency for propagation, the higher frequency works against its ability to propagate distance-wise. Higher frequency if the inverse of distance traveled. This means much more power is required for transmission and many more booster/repeater transmitters (cells) are required. All this to make things 10 times faster. These cells are said to be required on every city block. Keep this in mind for a moment.
Essentially, these 5G cells have become line-of-sight to each other. Can anyone tell me why Light Fidelity (LiFi) isn't considered when it travel a 100 times faster than standard Wi-Fi. Yes, Wi-Fi is not 5G, but LiFi is still steadily growing in transmission range and overcoming obstacles in transmission paths. LiFi has strengths in energy efficiency and ultra-wide bandwidth.
As it stands, 5G networks does offer an extremely high capacity for novel streaming applications. One of the most promising approaches is to embed large numbers of cooperating small cells into the macro-cell coverage area. Alternatively, LiFi can be adopted as an alternative physical layer, offering higher data rates. Non-line-of-sight (NLOS) optical wireless is resistant to obstacles and is capable of adapting its throughput according to the current channel state information.
Want to know what is far FASTER than 5G, also has Line-of-Sight communication, and far safer?
It is called - LiFi
Li-Fi is a technology for wireless communication between devices using light to transmit data and position. In its present state only LED lamps can be used for the transmission of visible light.
Li-Fi is a visible light communications system that is capable of transmitting data at high speeds over the visible light spectrum, ultraviolet and infrared radiation.
Why the 5G madness?
Why use RF range of frequency (microwave) when several independent studies show it to be harmful to human health?
Having worked on radar transmitters, I think 5G is nuts.
Not only is LiFi safer, but the data transmission is barely being tapped into for it's true capabilities. We only have data going in one stream and out another. When you can have light transmitted data, you can have hundreds of data streams moving all at once.
Did you know that we still have not come anywhere near close to the capacity of fully utilizing optical fiber cables? Low attenuation cables are going to be the wire of the future lightspeed data transference machines.
So, a cell tower might give you five to ten miles radius of coverage, but the small cells for 4G LTE densification, which you’re right, goes a few blocks. For 5G, the spectrum is going to be millimeter wave spectrum. That spectrum goes much shorter distances, maybe 100 feet and requires a line of sight.
Part of the depop agenda, I presume. If they can't get you with the jab, they'll do it with 5G, and both are being sold as a safe solution to something.
I'm so glad I live way out in the country in a rather backward county (we don't even have building permits). I don't have a smartphone or a microwave oven. I wouldn't have a WIFI router except that it's the only way I can get decent internet.

IMHO, I see this technology as being so much better than 5G. The power of light. We can do this.

This!! 5G ... “Keep looking at the screen Dorothy. Don’t look behind the curtain there’s nothing to see here.” Where’s Toto when you need him!

Musk will beam you 5g. No FOMO for you.
You're ok, just remember to wear your "special hat".....
Forget the FCC, they work for corporate interests only, they are part of the cabal.
Weird my phone out here in boonies shoes LtE when internet is unavailable but recently in Dallas and Houston showed 5G - I have cheap SE phone 😕
