Hey Pedes, here in Ireland kids require an antigen test to play sports, my daughter is fighting in her first boxing match this weekend and is required to take the test. I can't seem to find any proper info on what's on the tip of this swab, her coach said he talked to the doc and he said it's just cotton wool. If anyone has any knowledge on these tests I'd appreciate it. If there's any substance on it I won't allow her to fight......
Fucking hate this clown world we live in.
Cheers.
Supposedly the swabs (most of which are made in China) are sterilized with Ethylene Oxide a known carcinogen. Good luck finding a source that a normie would acknowledge though. All the “fact checkers” have oozed from the woodwork to say it’s false, and even it is true it’s only in trace amounts.
Well, ethylene oxide is a gas so if any is left between the fibres it's unlikely to be detectable. (I'm playing "devil's advocate" and giving the scientific answer.)
Other sources have suggested that there could be other contaminants and, knowing what quality control is like in China, that could easily be true.
But the main problem is that the swab is thrust almost to the brain, which is uncomfortable and, in a tiny number of cases, has caused injury, requiring surgery.
And, of course, it's just stupid and unscientific because it's impossible to transmit a flu-type illness unless you have symptoms! See Chinese study proving this:

Depending on the test, it may say "EO" on it. Or 'sterilized with EO'. Canadian rapid tests tell you on EACH swab. Make sure you can observe it, if you allow her to take the test. It needs to be " sterile" anyway, so it shouldn't be an issue getting a swab in the original packaging.
