We are very fond of the Ron Paul curriculum online. We didn't think we could homeschool but after 4th grade, with the RP curriculum, much of the learning can be completed independently by the student. We had good teachers at our local public school and an overall positive experience there until COVID but we have never been happier since we decided to homeschool and now we'll never go back to public or even a private school where the majority of a student's day is spent away from home. Our boy still plays sports in CA. No problems. Hope you're able to stay with us and fight for CA but definitely understand you have to do what you feel is right for your family first.
