I think you're right. I do believe their goal is to make us crazy, in order to make us more accepting of the next batch of liberal bs. See my note above about where I live. I'm the seventh generation of those people. Bullheaded is our middle name.

I should add 7th gen here. Somewhere in Germany there's a village of matching bullheads. It's obviously a dominant gene.
