Looking for anyone that has gone to a CVS Minute Clinic to get the antibody test.
Was it worth the $39 fee? What are the results like (positive/negative, or do they quantify the results if you are positive)? Do you get a printout or anything with your results?
I know I recently had covid and recovered. Kinda want to get something on paper just for another tool in my tool belt.
I called my Dr about blood work and testing, but I didn't like the scripted answer I got. They tried to talk me out of it, claiming it is un-reliable and not worth the expense. I badly wanted to say, you mean like the vax? KEK
I'm not talking testing for a active infection, just to prove I had it and have natural immunity. I know for sure I had it. All symptoms, and at home test. I just want extra ammo for when this OSHA thing comes down.

What I think you should do, and what I did, is go to the doctor's office and ask for a rapid covid test.
What this does is takes a small sample from your finger of blood, and they put it in a testing thing which takes about 15 minutes to test. It will tell you currently if you have antibodies for covid in your bloodstream. At first I was wondering, maybe the tests aren't legit, but then I donated my blood a month after and it came back stating that I had antibodies in my blood for covid.
Not sure if they still do it, but most insurances were actually covering the rapid test. I think the $39 testing is a scam to me personally but you can do whatever you think is best.
Go into an urgent care office if your doctor is unwilling to do it. That's where I got mine done.
That sounds like the rapid test at CVS. Finger prick and results in 15ish minutes from what I've read.
I was donating blood every couple months here, to feel good but mostly to see the antibody results. None of the blood banks around here test for antibodies anymore. Isn't that convenient?
My uncle goes to the Red Cross to donate blood and found out he had the antibody’s because they do free testing before donation.
