I'd be concerned about two things, the first being the sudden onset of attention from celebrities. The second concern is that when one lies down with dogs, one gets up with fleas. I know nothing about the first one you mention, though I remember your first post and I thought what you described sounded sketchy. If the second one is who I think it is (the lead Gladiator), I've read he can be a real jerk.

You say your dad is so happy, so I'll note one more thing, which is that our emotions can easily override/overrule/overwhelm our objectivity and good judgment.
