I've been giving ivermectin to my dogs for many years.
I don't and wouldn't use the type he is showing. Sheep drench ivomectin is made to penetrate the skin. It is a pour on medication for sheep. Knowing that fact there has to be something in the formula in addition to ivomectin that allows the drug to pass the skin barrier. I don't know what that something is therefore I can't be sure it is safe when taken orally. The problem with any skin penetrating medicinal product would be dosage control in addition to the unknow agent to penetrate the skin.
I give the injectible ivomectin solution for cattle and swine orally on their feed.
The dosage for that is almost the same for dogs and humans. For dogs the dosage is 1/10th cc to every ten pounds of body weight. For humans that dosage is 1 cc for every 100 pounds of body weight.
I had the same thought when I saw him bring out a drench. Like yeah, you’re not suppose to eat that. I use injectable ivermectin on my goats. It’s the only thing I’ve found to work on them. I have some horse paste for the humans. 😂
