Those parasites are nasty little things. I've glad your horse's product worked! (Consider repeating a course of it again in 3 or so weeks to make sure the hatching eggs are taken care of also.)
Here's some pages from Alternative Medicine: The Definitive Guide (2nd Edition). There was a lot of info about migraines in it, so I couldn't scan it all, but I included the index on the last page of the PDF so you can see all of the related content. Ginger, Feverfew and Melatonin are listed as natural remedies and I included the info about them. (The book is available as "Used - Good" on Amazon for $14-$15, if you decide you want to purchase it.)
As an aside thought, investigate iodine if you aren't already taking it. I think it really helps us out with extra energy. Dr. David Brownstein has a wonderful book about iodine called Iodine: Why You Need It, Why You Can't Live Without It.
I hope you can find something that will help you. I will add you to my prayers. Take care, my fren!
Thank you so very much!! I do take ginger and feverfew already.. I will look into melatonin. I just received my order of iodine Saturday but I'm still trying to figure out dosage..
I take 12.5 mg daily of the Tri-Iodine, but I think you want to work up to it slowly. In Dr. Brownstein’s book, he uses higher doses in some cases to treat his patients’ specific ailments. I remember that he talks about a specific test that can be performed to check for the correct dosage.
