Everybody left is at least 30% more valuable. If nurses are getting overworked because of mandates and outside health systems are paying upwards of $200/hr for travel nurses full timers want their cut.
Yea, this is good. Try to see what the protest is actually about. Hopefully you will be able to report back its over the vax with a screenshot or something so we know the truth.
So just a word of advise from an RN, not a doctor. I am giving citizen advise, not medical advise. Always talk with your PCP to be sure it is not detrimental to your medical condition. The biggest farce of this whole Covid clown show is that few medical people talk about the basics to avoid, flu, colds and Covid. The secrets to good health are: staying hydrated, getting adequate rest (at least 8 hours) every night, eating healthily (fruits, vegetables and protein; avoid sugars and breads; avoid all fast foods), good hand washing after bathroom use and before preparing meals. Wash fruits and vegetables thoroughly. Adequate vitamin C and D levels (those with vitamin D levels between 50-70 are less likely to get Covid). I take a Vitamin C complex of 1000 mg, Vitamin D3 5000 is, Vitamin K2 100 mcg. to help with vitamin D absorption. I take these every day. I do not wear a mask (they do not prevent Covid or cold transmission). I am not vaccinated. A month ago I had a scratchy throat and stuffy nose. I doubled my vitamin C and D dose, added zinc piccolate 50 mg in the A.M. and took a zinc lozenges 50 mg with elderberry and echinacea before bed, and added quercitin 800 mg. to help with boosting the zinc. I did this for 3 days. After day 1 my sore throat was gone and I never got a runny nose. I went back to my usual doses after 3 days. This worked for me. Everyone is different. Especially if you have kidney disease, are on chemotherapy, or have other co-morbidities be careful what you take and check in with your doctor.
That's the problem. Doctors don't recommend dietary/supplements to every single condition I have: just big pharma crap. Father with cancer was told to go home and wait, as was my best friend. When asked if dietary/supp changes would help, the answer every time was NO! I would never check with my doctor before doing anything I've researched for myself. Including cannabis use: both my MD and Naturopath were AGAINST my usage of it for migraines, fibromyalgia, etc, back in 2014 when I obtained my medical card. Fast-forward to today, both carry CBD products in their office. Money-grabbing opportunists!
Well, fill us in on what it has to do with since you work there. Expand on our knowledge a little bit. Nothing better than someone on the inside setting us straight.
Per news, it was over wages. Methinks this has far more to do with the vax than $.

I drove past Kaiser yesterday and they already had a few picketers out front.

The only time a doctor spoke to me about vitamins was when I got pregnant.
Nothing to do with jab?
And what a cold and flu season it will be...
kinda funny strike for $$ silence for Vax mandate. Pinoy logic best logic.
I work for Kaiser. This has nothing to do with the jab.

Nothing groundbreaking. Basically the main points of the strike are wages and benefits. Same old song.
