I’m like a latter transitioning into a former. I have formally accepted Christ as my personal savior, but my life experiences have indicated God truly loves all his children and I can’t really conceive of this all-loving creator eternally damning anyone for not having the “correct” beliefs for any number of reasons beyond their control. If you are born and raised and live out your life in India, for example, chances are quite high that you will be some variation of Hindu because that’s the culture you were raised in. The God I know doesn’t punish like that.
