The Bible is not the truth and authority on salvation?
The question posed by the OP is one related to Christians and Christianity.
In Christianity, Christians derive truth from the authority of the Bible.
Given evidences, belief in the what Bible says is reasonable. Evidences include: manuscripts, archeology, prophecy and statistics.
16 All Scripture is God-breathed(A) and is useful for teaching,(B) rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,(C) 17 so that the servant of Goda may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.(E) (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
